About Us

Built in 1793, this historic residence has been expanded and carefully restored to maintain as much of the 19th century character and charm as possible, while adding modern conveniences. In fact, we've stayed so true to the original spirit of the Marsh Estate that we're on the National Register of Historic Places.

Wide pine floors, Queen Anne furnishings and period antiques adorn the 22 guest rooms and three suites, dining room and common areas. Multi-paned windows offer stunning views out toward Dewey's Mill Pond, the Ottauquechee River and the majestic spruce and hardwood trees that tower over the property.

Each night, our chefs dazzle the palettes of both our guests and the public with some of the finest cuisine in New England, made from fresh Vermont products. Tantalizing dinner entrees finished with aperitifs from our full-service bar make dining here an experience you'll replay in your mind again and again.

When it's time to truly get away and treat yourself, let your imagination wander to the Quechee Inn at Marshland Farm. We'll be waiting.
